Caroline Currid has spent her career becoming one of Ireland’s most beloved performance psychologists. With over 16 years of experience to her name, she’s managed to work alongside corporate and sports clients across the globe, lending her advice to any looking to enhance their competitive mindset. From leadership development to her best-in-class process that encompasses each client’s individual strengths and weaknesses, Caroline offers industry-leading performance guidance. As a result, she’s become one of the most sought after figures in the elite performance scene, helping the likes of Paul O’Connell and David Rudisha.
The kickstart for Caroline’s career initially began in 2005. Following a cruciate ligament injury, she spent her rehabilitation time developing an acute interest in sports psychology. So much so that she left her life as a banker behind and began studying at Open University. Shortly after, she went on to earn herself a Master’s degree in sports psychology from the University of Jordanstown – an achievement that she’d quickly put into action. In 2007, she bravely approached Mickey Harte – the then manager of Tyrone FC – and offered her services within the GAA. Ever since, she’s gone from strength to strength, assisting athletes both locally and internationally.
From working with four All-Ireland winning teams in Gaelic football and hurling to guiding the Rugby Union’s very own Paul O’Connell from 2008-2016, Caroline injected immense passion into performance coaching. Her avid dedication had never been seen before, and the industry quickly became enamoured with this wonderful woman. As such, she’d find herself earning the attention of 800 metre runner David Rudisha of Kenya – a partnership that ultimately led to him breaking the world record at the 2012 Summer Olympics. By helping David to focus on maximising his performance on the day, Caroline played an integral role in securing success for him and his country.
At her core, Caroline is an outstanding performance psychologist who understands exactly what goes into earning a victory. Delighted to work with the likes of Celtic FC, Munster Rugby, and even CEOs, C-Suite Executives, and Senior Management Teams, she possesses a versatile approach that has been honed over years of careful practise and studying. So, if your event could use some enrichment from one of Ireland’s leading performance psychologists, consider hiring Caroline Currid. Her ability to amaze and astound audiences with performance tactics and techniques is nothing short of exceptional, so contact Champions Speakers to get in touch with Caroline today!

"A big thanks for the insightful presentation you delivered to our team on Performance Psychology as part of our Mental Health Awareness Month. The real life experiences you shared with us spanning sporting, personal and family day to day life resonated with the team personally and gave everyone something to take away. The session was truly invaluable to all attendees." - Frank, AIB
"Caroline delivered a High Performance workshop to the Berkley Group. Caroline presented a very engaging session on how best to maximise your own potential as well as creating an environment for high performing teams. I was particularly interested in her discussion on getting the right team mind-set and ensuring that each team member were maximising their potential. Caroline’s workshop had a very positive impact and I will be looking to build on that by bringing Caroline in for individual and group sessions with the team." - Fergal, CEO, Berkley Recruitment
