Campbell Johnstone is a trailblazer both on and off the rugby pitch. As the first openly gay All Black, he has overcome significant obstacles to become a powerful advocate for authenticity and inclusion. In his keynote speeches, he emphasises the importance of having the courage to be yourself, even when it feels risky or uncomfortable. He believes that everyone has a role to play in creating a more inclusive world, and that by fostering a non-judgmental environment where people can open up and talk to one another, we can all be more at peace. Campbell encourages others to be honest with themselves and to embrace vulnerability as a means of achieving personal growth and success, and he is sure to inspire audiences of all backgrounds and ages.
In September 2023 we sat down virtually with Campbell Johnstone and discussed the importance of LGBT+ role models in sport and how you can learn determination & teamwork from rugby. Watch our Exclusive Interviews with Campbell Johnstone.
