Butzi is an international keynote speaker and author who is renowned in both the artificial intelligence industry as an AI trainer and the creativity space as a professional magician. A 4x TEDx speaker, he utilises magic to explain how to harness the power of artificial intelligence. Drawing from his experience as an entrepreneur and creative, Butzi helps executives and entrepreneurs to innovate and upskill their businesses.
Whilst studying Economics at university, Butzi discovered magic and practised this art extensively for two years. After performing magic in hotels, bars and restaurants, he became a professional full-time magician, upgrading his shows for corporate and private events. This led Butzi to perform at the prestigious Hollywood Magic Castle and he became a contributor at the McBride Magic and Mystery School. Alongside performing as a magician, Butzi also studied as an actor at the Actor Centre in London, which inspired him to design his own illusions and create custom shows for clients.
As an author, Butzi wrote the book ‘Creativity for Magicians’, providing tips and tools for magicians to create original routines. His second book, ‘The Magic of Crazytivity’, is designed for the general public, helping them to unlock their creativity. He also writes for his blog, sharing insights into AI, innovation and workplace culture. Butzi has delivered 4 TEDx talks, with his most recent talk, Generation Y: How to understand them and reconcile with them, deconstructing divides between generations with the help of magic. Today, Butzi is an AI trainer and consultant who helps organisations adopt and unlock the opportunities of artificial intelligence.
