Alex Crow is the Founder of Stress Boffin, a Mentalist, and a former Police Officer, who spent 15 years in the Metropolitan Police Force. As a Police Constable, he experienced a variety of things which kept him constantly on high alert, including violent confrontations, domestic abuse and dealing with people struggling with severe mental illness. These regular occurrences placed Alex under enormous levels of stress and anxiety. He experienced a whole new level of pressure when drafted into Brixton to help control the riots and then things were exacerbated further when his wife passed away from cancer after a long battle. It is during these tragic circumstances that Alex began to develop techniques to cope with this ongoing and overwhelming stress. As a speaker, Alex now shares valuable mental resilience techniques that kept him going during his most challenging experiences.
Translating those techniques into a training programme, Alex developed the Stress Boffin workshop, which is specifically designed to be applied in practical and interactive circumstances. This allows anyone to benefit and immediately apply the techniques to their daily lives to manage stress and live a happy and more productive life. After 15 years with the Metropolitan Police force, Alex embarked on a new career journey. He decided to become a Magician and initially performed for kids’ magic shows before evolving into a Mindreader and Mentalist performing at corporate events. Alex has become a very popular Mentalist who is regularly booked for conferences, award events and cruise ships, performing all over the world.
Whilst studying Neuro Linguistic Programming, Alex understood that over the years he had unintentionally developed several successful strategies and techniques to remain stress-free, focused, and resilient. This was backed up by his research when he discovered that several authors and many of the mental well-being programmes available concurred with his techniques. In his workshops and training programmes, he incorporates mindfulness, NLP, exercise, and some of his personal techniques to help his clients combat stress and build resilience.
Now Alex has established himself as one of the top Mindreaders in the UK and has become a popular entertainer internationally. Having successfully performed in front of thousands of people, he applies some of the skills acquired as a Mentalist to provide highly engaging speeches on developing mental resilience and controlling stress. When booked for speaking events, he promises to equip organisations with the techniques to reduce days lost to sickness and improve the productivity of the workforce.
