Bobbi Pickard

Bobbi Pickard is the CEO of Trans in the City, an organisation which she founded following the lack of co-operation with corporate organisations with an aim of helping the trans and non-binary community. The now global organisation has over 350 collaborating organisations building awareness around the world. She is a professional regarding all thing’s diversity, equity and inclusion with years of senior experience in the corporate world. As a Diversity Role Model, Bobbi speaks at events all over the world regarding LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the workplace and other inclusion-based issues. This has led to an extensive demand for all sorts of media appearances such as TV and radio.

Bobbi worked across multiple different sectors prior to Trans in the City in senior roles for companies such as Allianz Insurance, Barclays and multiple stints at BP where she is currently a Diversity and Inclusion Director.

Bobbi is a council member of OUTvertising and an ambassador for MindOUT. Her efforts in the industry earnt her first place in the Yahoo Finance OUTstanding 50 LGBT+ Future Leaders’ List in 2019. A true inspiration to the LGBTQIA+ community, Bobbi has raised over £250,000 for related charities over the last four years which is indicative of her passion and influence in the space. Not only this, but Bobbi has continued to shine which was recognised further when she was awarded winner of the Diversity Hero Award at the European Diversity Awards 2021 and Changemaker of the Year 2022 by Stonewall.

Following her widespread success and achievements in the LGBTQIA+ community, Bobbi is looking to expand her audience and spread even more awareness about inclusion issues in the workplace. Bobbi admits that her biggest issue is that so few people are aware of what it really means to be transgender and how it effects individuals.
