Ben Kjar

Ben Kjar was told he would live a different kind of life, having been born with Crouzon Syndrome, and he chose to prove the doctors right in the most extraordinary ways possible. As a World Champion Wrestler, movie producer, star of his own biographical film and outstanding keynote speaker, he is an inspiration to audiences across the globe. Ben empowers organisations through his powerful "Call Your Shot" message, helping teams achieve what once seemed impossible by setting bold goals and building accountability. 

Born with a rare craniofacial condition that causes the fibrous joints in a baby's skull to fuse together too early, Ben's childhood was far from easy. With the support and strength from his parents, he endured painful surgeries and relentless bullying, all whilst being underestimated for what he could truly achieve. Nevertheless, each experience of adversity only made him feel stronger. Ben learned to transform his facial difference into a source of power through wrestling, where he pushed himself to break both physical and social barriers. Despite facing constant challenges and ridicule, he persevered to become Utah Valley University's first-ever NCAA Division I All-American. In 2023, at age 40, he represented the United States at the World Championships in Greece, becoming a Greco-Roman World Champion and earning a silver medal in Freestyle Wrestling. 

In 2026, an acclaimed documentary about his incredible life, "Standout: The Ben Kjar Story," was released. Directed by Tanner Christensen and starring Ben himself, the film chronicles his lifelong journey from childhood bullying to finding love, adopting children and becoming a champion wrestler. The movie serves as a cinematic extension of his lifelong mission to prove that you can stand in the face of doubt, fear, setbacks and even humiliation and boldly declare what you will become by choosing resilience over resentment. 

Alongside his professional sporting career, Ben has been the owner of the Kingdom Training Centre since founding it in 2010 with the aim of building champions for life. Additionally, Ben has been a keen real estate investor, stemming from his dad checking him out of elementary school to teach him how money can work for him. Years later, Ben used those skills to renovate his own properties around the country. Today, he channels this vast wealth of life experience, from the wrestling mat to the business world, into his passion as a keynote speaker. Presenting to audiences of 10,000+ people, he continues to take the stage worldwide, empowering individuals and organisations to tear down their barriers and unlock their ultimate potential.
