Establishing themselves on the music scene in 2008, during the fifth series of The X Factor, Aston and his fellow members came second in the talent show, but first in the eyes of the nation. Off the back of the success of their first two number 1 UK hits, Beat Again and Everybody in Love, the boys went on to perform four headline tours before disbanding in 2013. In 2017, Aston joined the prestigious Strictly Come Dancing line up, where he honed his dancing capabilities, learning to waltz, foxtrot and even won a later TV special with his jive. Backed by his reputation as not only a talented vocalist, but an equally talented dancer, Aston utilised his platform to embark on a hugely successful solo career.
Completing two sell out tours in 2017 and 2018, Aston’s debut single ‘Get Stupid’ went platinum, with his EP ‘Precious’ proving equally popular. In 2020, he took to his nearly 600,000 combined social followers to announce the highly anticipate reunion with JLS. Set for a 2021 return tour titled ‘Beat Again’, fans have gone wild, selling out dates instantly.
