Ashley Bizzell

Ashley Bizzell is an outcomes-driven health professional, registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist, with over 15 years of experience in clinical nutrition and chronic disease management. She currently serves as the Director of Clinical Nutrition and Global Training at L-Nutra Health, the medical division of L-Nutra Inc. Ashley’s expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including nutrition counselling for weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, critical care and renal disease. 

Ashley earned her BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Clemson University in 2000 and became a Registered Dietitian through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that same year. In 2005, she started working as a Clinical Dietitian at South Iredell Internal Medicine before moving to Lincare Holdings to be a Sales Representative. In 2009, Ashley founded Blink Nutrition, a medical nutrition provider for patients with diabetes, obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and renal disease. After a decade in hospital-based clinical practice, she shifted her focus to preventive care, leveraging lifestyle innovation and telehealth to combat chronic diseases. In 2010, she became a Senior Clinical Dietitian at Carolinas Healthcare System and later at CaroMont Regional Healthcare. In 2020, Ashley became a Registered Dietitian/Health Coach at Vida Health, where she facilitated health behaviour change through virtual coaching, MNT and integrated technology. She then joined Cecelia Health as a Clinical Dietitian before joining L-Nutra under the same position. 

Whilst at L-Nutra, Ashley progressed from Clinical Dietitian to Clinical Nutrition Manager and eventually Director of Clinical Nutrition and Global Training in 2025. Since joining L-Nutra Health, Ashley has witnessed first-hand the transformative impact of combining cutting-edge nutri-technology with personalised lifestyle interventions to improve metabolic health outcomes. Alongside her work in nutrition technology, Ashley is frequently invited to speak at events on a range of clinical nutrition and chronic disease topics. In 2025, she spoke at the American Diabetes Association 85th Scientific Sessions, the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists conference and held a webinar on the Fasting Mimicking Diet for Diabetes DPG. In 2026, she delivered a fascinating talk at the American College of Lifestyle Medicine conference in Grapevine, Texas.
