Anthony Costa first shot to fame as a member of one of Britain’s most successful boy bands of all-time, Blue. Alongside his friends Lee Ryan, Duncan James and Simon Webbe, the quartet catapulted to fame in 2001 with their Top 5 single All Rise. The group quickly ascended to the top of the charts with three No.1 albums, scored collaborations with musical legends Elton John and Stevie Wonder, and even represented the UK in 2011 at the Eurovision Song Contest along the way.
In between albums with Blue, Anthony released his own top 20 UK single Do You Ever Think of Me? and toured as a solo star. He went on to become a popular media personality, starring in shows including I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, Dancing on Ice and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. He has even taken tentative steps into the soap opera world, starring in Holby City.
Despite enjoying success on his own, the public were anxious to see a Blue reunion and they were not disappointed when in 2009, the band announced they were reforming. In 2013 alone, Blue played over 170 shows and events, in more than 21 countries.Blue’s recent album, Roulette, saw them collaborate with Grammy-winning producer RedOne, who has crafted global hits for Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj. 2015 saw Blue hitting the screens as they launched their new ITV show, Blue Go Mad In Ibiza.
