Anna Foster is the Founder and Creative Director of E.L.V. DENIM, a groundbreaking sustainable denim brand. Each piece is crafted from discarded materials, creating a collection of bespoke, functional, and long-lasting pieces that are tailored to fit everybody. E.L.V. DENIM made its London Fashion Week debut with ‘The Journey’ and was available in Selfridges as part of The Mills Fabrica and London Craft Week Edit. With over 20 years in fashion consulting, styling, and editing, Anna is a figurehead in the world of reworked fashion.
For over two decades, Anna has been a fashion consultant and stylist. In 2008, she joined Grazia Magazine as a contributing fashion editor, styling main fashion shoots, including the Big Fashion Issue. Anna worked the AW14 Campaigns for both Monsoon and Radley, whilst simultaneously serving as a contributing fashion editor to L’Officel. She was then a Fashion & Style Director for Lula Magazine before starting at RUSSH Magazine. Just after, she founded E.L.V. Denim and, after five years at RUSSH, serving as Fashion Director at Large, she left to focus on her own business venture.
Recognised for her work in both Vogue Business' ‘100 Innovators 2024’ and Women in Sustainable Luxury, Anna has been featured in various media and articles. She appeared on the ‘Midlife Entrepreneur’ podcast and was interviewed by The Walpole after E.L.V. was mentioned in their ‘Brand of Tomorrow 2025’ mentorship programme. Anna was also invited to be involved in the British Fashion Council’s film on sustainability and has been featured in articles for BBC News and The Standard, further demonstrating her growing presence in the slow fashion industry.
An inspiration in the space of environmentally conscious creativity, Anna has made her mark on the fashion industry by speaking on a variety of panels and summits, such as Vogue Poland Business Fashion Summit, SoHo House Panel in Conversation with Cat Deeley, British Fashion Council Institute for Positive Fashion, and the Great British Brands Panel. Her enlightening discussions on upcycling, circularity, innovation, and responsibility are guaranteed to keep audiences mindful of their fashion consumption and encourage them to continue making conscious and intentional choices.
