Ann Osman is best known as a Mixed Martial Arts fighter, who made firsts in the Malaysian fighting circuit. After becoming Malaysia’s first female fighter to be signed to ONE Fighting Championship, Ann made headlines with Asia’s biggest MMA promotion organisation. A role model for other female fighters, Ann has been recognised as a Next Generation Leader by Time Magazine and sits at the top of the Flyweight female division. Today, Ann is frequently booked to appear at a range of different events, providing speeches about her sport and motivation to succeed. Before the heights of fame as an MMA fighter, Ann achieved a diploma in Computer Science and began work as a sales and marketing executive for AHSB Rentacar.
Here she learnt the art of maintaining relationships with the company’s suppliers and customers and analysed the sales performance of the business. She later went on to work as a Sales Executive for Airtime Management and Programming, a Marketing Manager for AHSB Rentacar and a Business Development Manager for The iProperty Group. As 2013 drew to a close, Ann was fortunate to secure a professional Athlete contract with ONE Championship where she gained the title of Malaysia’s first female professional MMA athlete. Ann shot to fame with ONE Championship, with many publications recognising her talent. She secured many winning streaks, with her Professional MMA record totalling 3-1-0.
After serving her professional contract for four years, Ann moved on to become an Athlete Relations and Recruitment Manager for the ONE Championships. Today, Ann is the co-founder and Managing Director of Travel Rite Tours and is also the co-founder and CEO of BAIU Hana. She also commits her time to work as a public speaker, sought for events by high profile organisations. A pioneer of the female Asian fighting scene, Ann is booked to speak about the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and the drive and determination it took to succeed in it.
