As a sports fanatic Amber graduated with a First Class Honours in Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Worcester, as well as being a keen footballer and cricketer. Amber's radio career began at 19 when she trained at local community station WCR FM. From here she progressed to reporting for BBC Radio Wolverhampton, West Midlands and BBC 5Live Sport. In 2022 Amber became the host of her own national show on BBC Asian Network. As an experienced event host, Amber has hosted several sporting events such as Team GB Fanzone, Greater Birmingham Young Professional Awards, Wolves Gala Dinner and many more. Amber has had the privilege of hosting alongside some of the biggest names in sport including Suzi Perry. Amber regularly reports for Sky Sports News, covering Premier League and cricket events.
Amber is passionate about advocating for increased diversity and inclusion in the sporting industry. She uses her platform to represent the Asian community in the mainstream media, curating content that reflects the experiences and interests of the British Asian community. She also advocates for increased representation in women in sports, in particular cricket and football. Amber engages in discussions and panels where she can be vocal in advocating for equality.
