Alexandra Whittington

Alexandra Whittington is Futurist at Tata Consultancy Services, managing the Future of Business team at the organisation. Co-author of several books, she addresses topics related to futurism with authority. Alexandra is now available to speak at a wide range of events on how to create positive futures for themselves and their communities.

After she completed her BA in Anthropology from the University of Houston and MS in the Studies of the Future from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Alexandra embarked on her successful career in futurism. She served as a Researcher and Project Manager at Strategic Foresight and Development, Adjunct Instructor at the University of Houston-Downtown and Futurist at Children at Risk, before she became a Horizon Scanning Researcher at Shaping Tomorrow.

In 2015, Alexandra became a Foresight Researcher at Fast Future Research Limited, alter assuming responsibility as a Foresight Director for Fast Future Publishing. In this role, Alexandra was responsible for leading the research on the organisation’s content, consulting and publications. As a Lecturer at the University of Houston, Alexandra taught important modules on topics such as forecasting for technology entrepreneurship, the impact of modern technology on society and human ecosystems and technological change – imparting her wisdom and unparalleled expertise on the subjects to the next generation. Alexandra has also delivered a TEDx talk entitled “The Museum of the Future” where she displays her supreme knowledge on the subject. In 2020, Alexandra was named as one of the 50 Leading Female Futurists by Forbes – an incredible feat.

Co-author and co-editor of numerous books, including titles such as “Beyond Genuine Stupidity”, “The Future Reinvented” and “A Very Human Future”, there are few as experienced as Alexandra when it comes to speaking on topics such as futurism, foresight and technology.
