Alastair Lukies

One of the biggest names in the British FinTech industry, Alastair Lukies founded Monitise in 2003, growing the FinTech business to a market cap of $2 billion. The company was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. With a profound understanding of the industry he innovates in, Lukies has since gone on to serve as a government advisor. After a short rugby career in his youth, Lukies joined sports hospitality company, ICM. Before long though, he had the entrepreneurial itch and co-founded Epolitix. In 2014 he was appointed CBE for his services to both mobile banking and charity. Today, he serves as a member of the Prime Minister’s Business Council. In addition to being involved as Chairman of Innovate Finance and later a Founding Partner of Motive Partners, Lukie became the founding CEO of Pollinate International in 2017.
