Award-winning Stand-up comedian Alasdair Beckett-King is a comedian and animator who performs all over the country. He features on BBC radio as a comedian and sketch writer and has also written and performed for several indie video games.

Alasdair's talent for entertaining was made apparent following his graduation from the London Film School where he won a student Royal Television Society award and also was nominated for a Student Oscar in 2013. Going viral with over two million views and making him an internet phenomenon. The popular comedian has performed up and down the UK but his popularity also spread further seeing him perform in Romania, Norway, Germany, at the Utrecht Comedy Festival, at Glastonbury, Latitude and the Edinburgh Fringe.

2019 has been as much a success as previous years as he took his second solo showThe Interdimensional ABK to Edinburgh. He's unforgettable performance saw him receive four and five star reviews. Now he's spending time working and developing a sitcom with Rockerdale Studios.

Gaining many awards and acknowledgements throughout his career, starting in 2013 when he was named runner up for the Laughing Horse New Act and became a finalist for the So You Think You're Funny? Award. 2013 also saw him reach third place in the prestigious Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian award. Continuing his success into 2014 when he won the impressive NATY's New Act of the Year award and then 2017 when he won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year award.
