Gail Emms
Olympic Silver medalist, Gail Emms is a badminton athlete turned motivational speaker and Olympic speaker, using her experiences across years of success on the court to inspire people to attain their goals. She achieved silver at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games with her mixed doubles partner Nathan Robertson, the pinnacle of her career.
Emms announced her retirement after Beijing 2008, deciding to focus her efforts onto media commitments and a new role as an after dinner speaker and sports speaker. A hugely successful career which saw Gail claim World Championships gold in 2006, consecutive Commonwealth titles and back-to-back European Championships, she dominated the sport throughout the early 2000s.
