Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones

'The Black Farmer'

Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, also known as ‘The Black Farmer’ is a businessman, farmer, business management speaker and politician, originally born in Jamaica. Growing up as the oldest child of his family after moving to Birmingham in the 1950s, Wilfred was tasked with the responsibility of looking after the family allotment. From this, he grew a passion for looking after his family and the freedom of being outdoors. Describing his transition from family allotment to farm, Wilfred is an ideal business speaker to cover a broad range of topics including leadership and retail.

Unqualified yet ambitious, Wilfred talked his way into Television, becoming a producer and director for the BBC. He was credited with bringing many of the top celebrity chefs to the small screen including Gordon Ramsay, Antony Worrall-Thompson, Brian Turner and James Martin, before founding a food and drink marketing company in London. Eventually, Wilfred was able to fulfill his childhood fantasy of being a farmer, purchasing land in Devon, consequently leading to the launch of the famous and national ‘Black Farmer’ brand. Moving into the world of retail, Wilfred saw his business grow into a supermarket giant, a topic he breaches at length as a business management speaker.

More recently, Wilfred has ventured in to politics, running for Conservative seats in his local constituency. ‘The Black Farmer’ also offers inspirational and motivational seminars as a business speaker drawing on his life experiences and working with some of the UK’s biggest companies. The perfect choice for your event, Wilfred will entertain, inspire and motivate people of all ages and in all industries with his speeches.
