Television and radio presenter Edith Bowman is a Scottish DJ and radio presenter best known for the long period spent at BBC Radio 1 where she was the radio presenter for both the weekday afternoon and weekend morning shows.

Edith Bowman made her first on-screen appearances in the early 2000’s working as a newsreader for MTV alongside friend and fellow television and radio presenter Cat Deeley. Identifying her interest in music early on in her career Bowman would remain working in this area throughout her career, though she also appeared as a TV presenter on a number of other unrelated shows including Channel 4’s morning series RI:SE and the BBC travel series Roadtrippers.

Bowman spent a short period as the TV presenter for Top of the Pops, however she is probably most well known for her three year partnership with fellow radio presenter Colin Murray at . Upon Murray’s departure to Radio Five Live Bowman continued to act as the solo radio presenter for the popular afternoon show, which moved to the Weekend Breakfast show in 2009.

Edith Bowman ceased working as a radio presenter for BBC Radio 1 in 2012 after almost a decade at the Corporation; she continues to work on stand-alone projects for the station but no longer appears a regular contributor. Since leaving Radio 1 Bowman has gone on to work as a radio presenter for BBC Radio 6 Music presenting a breakfast show with British comedian Adam Buxton.
