Angus Loughran


British TV presenter and sports commentator Angus Loughran began his career working at the betting shop, Ladbrokes where he provided racing commentary, more recently however Loughran has developed a career for himself working as a television and radio presenter for some of the most well-known international sports broadcasters.

Angus rose to fame thanks to his work as a TV presenter for the BBC, beginning with his work as ‘Statto’ the resident statistician on the BBC 2 series Fantasy Football League where he worked alongside British comedians and TV presenters Frank Skinner and David Baddiel.

Though Angus is probably most well-known for his work as a horse racing commentator, he acts as a TV presenter and football pundit for both the ESPN and Eurosport coverage of high profile international football games. Outside his work as a television and radio presenter Angus Loughran is also known for his work as a sports journalist and expert in both print and online media. Angus has written columns for the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph and regularly writes tipping sections for the online bookmakers: Easyodds.
