Tom Wilson is probably better known as his alter-ego Hammer after he made his debut on BBC’s Gladiators. Tom is a dedicated athlete with a background in football and sprinting and is also a world indoor rowing champion with many medals under his belt.
Tom has a background in elite sport. In 2023, he won silver at the British Indoor Rowing Championships, and in 2024 he won silver at the European Indoor Rowing Championships and at the World Championships. A testament to his drive and determination, Tom then went on to win gold at the British Indoor Rowing Championships.
In 2025, Tom made his debut as Hammer on BBC’s “Gladiators”, an unstoppable force, he believes his combined height (6 foot 5 inches), speed and strength will set him apart from the other Gladiators and make him a formidable opponent.
