In 1978, Tim Elmore attended the Oral Roberts University where he gained a Bachelor of Arts Qualification and continued to gain a Master’s and a Doctorate in Leadership Development and Spiritual Formation at Azusa Pacific University. In 1997, he started his career as the Vice President of Leadership Development at EQUIP, where he spent 10 years advancing his knowledge. In 2003, Tim became the Founder of Growing Leaders Inc, and he is now the CEO of Growing Leaders Inc, continuing as a strong company for two decades.

Tim is now the author of over thirty books, including Habitudes: Images That Form Leadership Habits & Attitudes, Marching Off the Map, Eight Paradoxes of Great Leadership and many more. Alongside writing, he is also an accomplished keynote speaker and has spoken in 50 countries worldwide, including India, Russia, China, Brazil, and many parts of the middle east. Tim has recently delivered the TED Talk 'The Inverse Relationship in Technology and Emotional Intelligence', where he spoke about how cell phones have drastically changed society.
