Stan Collymore

Stan Collymore is a former professional footballer who played for the England national team and Premier League clubs Liverpool, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace. Since retiring from professional football, Stan has transitioned seamlessly into sports broadcasting and punditry. In 2008, he was a leading broadcaster and pundit for talkSPORT, hosting the popular phone-in show 'Call Collymore' for eight years. In 2013, he was a match commentator and pundit for BT Sport during their Premier League coverage. Stan has additionally worked as a producer and presenter for Collmedia Ltd, assembling a production team that created 41 programmes for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, including an interview with Pelé. In 2014, Stan won the Radio Sport Documentary Award for the talkSPORT programme 'Kick Off Mental Health', where he explored the mental health challenges sports figures face. With his extensive football knowledge, Stan joined CANAL+ Group in Paris as a consultant, advising on sports broadcasting and football content. In 2021, Stan returned to his former club, Southend United, acting as a Senior Football Strategist.
