Shezad Nawab

Shezad Nawab is an award-winning Birmingham-based entrepreneur, a highly experienced Interim Executive Director and the Founder of ICE Ventures, a business advisory firm that provides an array of services to help businesses succeed in today’s dynamic business landscape. A serial entrepreneur who holds an extensive portfolio, Shezad is an astute businessman with extensive knowledge. He is also on a mission to increase the number of deaf entrepreneurs in the UK and plays an active role in supporting, counselling, and empowering them to start their enterprises. In his speaking engagements, Shezad can speak on a range of business topics such as risk management and managing a business in difficult times.

A graduate of Birmingham City University, Shezad holds two Degrees, one in Business and the other in Marketing. In 2010 he Founded Deaf Business Service Limited, a business advisory firm specialising in supporting deaf entrepreneurs. It is worth mentioning that Shezad can impressively sign in six different languages! Soon after, he Co-founded Fabsolutions, Founded Global Synergy Group and World Property Luxury. He would go on to build and be involved in several more businesses in a variety of specialities such as business networking, deaf movie productions, sign language and investment services among others. Moreover,  Shezad is a highly respected Management Consultant who has helped countless entrepreneurs start and scale their businesses.

For his outstanding contributions to the deaf community, Shezad was appointed MBE in 2017 for services in the field of business and diversity. His unparalleled passion, business acumen and enthusiasm have seen him earn the Ummul Mu’minin Khadijah Award for Excellence in Enterprise 2018, Alumni of the Year 2017 in the field of Enterprise and Innovation and was Listed in the top 10 Most Influential Disabled People in Business 2014. Furthermore, Shezad has documented his fascinating journey in his inspirational book, Born Deaf to An MBE.
