Sean Tolram

Sean Tolram is a mindfulness and neuroscience coach who works with organisations to create workplace environments that foster personal development & growth. As Founder of My Trained Mind Sean is skilled as combining the tenets of mindfulness with neuroscience to develop better organisational cultures. Accustomed to delivering several workshops and sessions with hundreds of audience members, Sean is now available to hire as a keynote speaker for events related to organisational culture, mindfulness and change management.

With a degree in Biotechnology from UCL, Sean began his career as a Web Designer for IBM. He then worked as a Website Manager for BHS, managing 12 members of the digital team whilst producing digital roadmaps for the organisation. Joining HSBC as a Digital Experience Manager, Sean has held prominent positions such as Content Producer and Head of Content at HSBC. Sean’s time in the corporate world brought his attention to the growing concerns around stress and burnout in the workplace. Holding the belief that work should not be so stressful that it makes one sick, Sean knew something that to change.

Since 2021, Sean has been a Mindfulness Programme Manager at HSBC - responsible for creating significant culture change within the organisation. His efforts to embed mindfulness across HSBC all over the world, has resulted in HSBC’s Mindfulness Champions winning the 2023 Champions Network Award. In his role at My Trained Mind, Sean is keen on creating future-fit organisations that promote mindful ways of working. Ultimately, he hopes to build happy, healthy and sustainable careers. Additionally, he is an ICF Accredited Career Coach and Mindfulness Teacher.
