Sara-Louise Ackrill is a Harley Street therapist and coach as well as the Founder and CEO of Wired Differently, a social impact company that creates products and services for neurodivergent people. Diagnosed with autism as an adult, in addition to her ADHD, Sara-Louise is all too familiar with the challenges facing neurodivergent individuals as a neurodivergent person herself. On a mission to educate organisations on how to be more inclusive, she excels as a speaker drawing on her personal experience as a neurodivergent, in addition to her expertise as a former disability and employment specialist, recruiter and hiring manager.
After graduating from the University of Exeter with a degree in Politics, Sara-Louise spent the next 16 years working in various luxury hospitality organisations. Since leaving the hospitality industry, Sara-Louise went on to volunteer for several organisations such as Crisis at Christmas, Gloucestershire Rape Crisis, and Devon Rape Crisis, beginning her retraining as a therapist and coach in 2008. Sara has worked in private practice ever since, joining a Harley Street consultancy as a freelance therapist in June 2022.
Sara has previously spoken for major organisations including Kings College, The University of East London, GEN-UK, Criteo and the International Association of Facilitators as well as being a regular on neurodiversity-focused podcasts.
