Sam Kary

Sam Kary is the Founder and CEO of New EdTech Classroom – a revolutionary YouTube channel that is providing valuable support to teachers in improving the quality of education they can deliver to students. Sam believes that it is important to adapt to new age technology when it comes to education and is therefore teaching people how to use AI in classrooms.

Sam possesses a BA in English and Spanish from the University of Colorado and an MA in English from Ohio State University. His teaching career started when he worked as a Teacher for Teach For America. Sam has also been a Humanities Teacher at Gateway Public School. As a Lead Instructional Coach at Breakthrough San Francisco, he led groups of instructional coaches through developing effective practices when it came to training new teachers.

An ISTE Certified educator, Google for Education Certified Trainer and National Geographic Certified educator, Sam is paving the way for several others. As someone who used to be skeptical of technological advancements, Sam has become an unequivocal advocate for using the benefits that technology can bring to lesson design. He has recently hosted the “Ultimate Guide to AI Lesson Planning” seminar that serves as a masterclass in assimilation of AI with traditional education.

Through his work, Sam partners with schools and districts to adopt systems-based approaches to school-wide technology integration through consulting, professional development, and workshops. His mission is simple and evident – facilitating sustainable innovation solutions for teachers and schools.
