As a keynote speaker, Rosie brings her wealth of experience from both elite sport and media to the stage, offering thought-provoking talks on leadership, diversity, and breaking barriers. One of Rosie’s most notable achievements is becoming the first female player to sign a professional contract with West Ham United Women in 2018, a landmark moment that paved the way for future generations of female footballers.
Rosie’s football journey began at Tottenham Hotspur, where she first showcased her talent as a dynamic winger. In 2012, she furthered her playing career by moving to the United States to play collegiate football with the Saint Leo Lions in Florida. This international experience not only developed her skills on the pitch but also broadened her understanding of the global game. Upon returning to England, Rosie represented clubs such as Brighton & Hove Albion, Cambridge United, Gillingham, and London Bees. She concluded her playing career at Watford, retiring from professional football at the end of the 2021–2022 season.
Following her retirement from football, Rosie transitioned seamlessly into sports media. Alongside her twin sister Mollie, Rosie has become a well-respected figure in broadcasting. Together they host the Barclays Women’s Championship Show on Sky Sports, providing expert coverage and analysis of women’s football. They were also presenters of Sky Sports' Broadcast Award-winning show ‘The Dub’, a collaboration with Snapchat aimed at engaging younger audiences. In 2023, Rosie and Mollie joined the presenting team for Soccer AM, making regular appearances on BBC One’s MOTDx and The Football Show on Sky Sports News. Their work has not gone unnoticed, with the sisters being named in Forbes 30 Under 30, recognising their significant influence in sports and media.
As the co-founder of The Powerhouse Project, Rosie is dedicated to equipping the next generation of female leaders in football with the tools they need to succeed. Her keynote topics include women’s leadership, diversity and inclusion in sport, and empowering young women to lead in male-dominated industries. Rosie’s authentic storytelling, combined with her firsthand experience at the highest levels of sport and media, makes her an engaging and impactful speaker.
