New Zealand cricket legend Sir Richard Hadlee MBE has been voted one of the greatest cricketers of all time, his commitment to the sport, leading and inspiring young sports people and working as a specialist cricket speaker. With thirteen years playing for his home team, the Canterbury Wizards Sir Richard was easily one of the most well-known cricket speakers and players of the 1980’s.
His highly publicized career, prolific after dinner speaker commitments and national coaching support marked him as both an icon and idol for New Zealand cricket fans.
