"I’ve worked with Rich a few times now, and in April 2025, he spoke at an amputation conference for Irwin Mitchell. He completely held the room with his story – from limb loss to four gold medals and sporting endeavours. His talk was full of emotion and honesty, with moments of light-hearted humour. Rich’s journey is one of courage and determination, and he shares it in a way that really connects with people. I’d highly recommend him – truly inspirational. Thanks, Rich!" - Sam, Campaigns Manager at Irwin Mitchell
"Richard shares his journey in recovery, life and sporting excellence with our degree students. Not only does this provide us insight into the operation of elite para sport, but a window into life's challenges and how our resilience can be built through adversity. Students greatly value the personal story and can use this as inspiration for their own careers, as well as their working knowledge of para sport talent development systems." - Julia, Director of Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing.
