Rachel’s journey into comedy was anything but conventional. Raised in South Dublin, she spent fifteen formative years in an all-girls Catholic school, an experience that later became central to her material and worldview. She initially followed a more traditional path, studying Business at Trinity College Dublin, while immersing herself in performance through the university’s musical theatre society. Despite excelling on stage, she felt the pull between creative ambition and perceived stability. Encouraged by her mother to follow her instincts, Rachel moved to London to train at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating in 2023 from its prestigious Musical Theatre programme. Her academic focus explored women and feminism in comedy, laying the intellectual groundwork for her future voice. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began sharing comedic sketches online, building a loyal audience through honest, character-led observations that reflected everyday Irish life.

Her professional breakthrough came with extraordinary speed. With almost no stand-up experience, Rachel took the bold step of self-producing ‘The Shite Feminist’, becoming Writer, Creator and Performer of the show. The risk paid off. The production sold out multiple runs across the UK and Ireland and became a standout hit at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024, earning glowing reviews for her authority on stage, warmth and razor-sharp wit. She returned to the Fringe in 2025 to further critical acclaim, confirming her status as a performer to watch.
