Petteri Kilpinen

Serial CEO and dynamic business leader, Petteri Kilpinen has spearheaded the largest marketed agency in Finland and had an influential impact on many more. Recognised as a leader in his field across not only Finland but much of Europe, Petteri is an advocate for inclusive business practices and has led by example in each of his senior positions. Now sought after as a corporate speaker Petteri is known for his energizing presentations that offer plans for progressive change and the strategies to achieve them. Between 2001 and 2013 Petteri was the CEO of TBWA Helsinki, a specialist marketing agency that developed from 70 employees to 300 under Petteri’s leadership. With an eye for innovation and a passion for diverse corporate values, Petteri led a new generation of the international brand, and during such time he was also responsible for TBWA Russian operations and European direction. In Petteri became CEO of MPS Enterprises Ltd, shortly followed by CEO of Rainmaker Ltd, where he promoted a winning culture through inclusion and inspiration.

Prior to embarking on his professional career, Petteri gained his qualifications at North Karelia University, before stepping into the marketing industry where his positive attitude and work ethic saw him work his way up the ladder. Some of Petteri’s earlier roles include Marketing Manager for Kauppalehti and Senior Strategy Director for McCann Erickson Europe. A firm believer in the power of education, Petteri has continued to develop his leadership skills through such courses as the Harvard Business School Senior Management Programme.

Currently, Petteri acts as a board member and chairman to several companies, each wanting to gain insights from the established corporate leader.
