Prior to embarking on his career in entertaining, Barrington was a professional golfer, enjoying the sport since the age of eleven. After turning professional aged eighteen, he qualified as a PGA professional, was named Head Professional at Weston-Super-Mare Golf Club and gained a reputation as a competitive long drive champion. Throughout his career, Barrington represented the UK twice at the World Long Drive Championships and was awarded first place in the British Long Drive Championships.
Currently, Barrington continues to entertain crowds at golf days as a trick shot performer, and is the owner of inPlay Golf Bristol. Founding the indoor golf centre in 2014, Barrington’s aim was to offer a unique experience to amateurs and professionals, by providing six gold simulators that allowed golfers to play on one hundred and ninety six iconic courses around the world. Additionally, one of key features of inPlay is the in house PGA professionals who offer lessons to a range of abilities, as Barrington works to ensure the future of the sport and involvement from all ages.
