Owen Francis

Owen Francis is a senior leader who works in executive search and board level recruitment. He is also a consultant in equity, diversity, and inclusion through his role. As a transgender man Owen uses his lived experiences to provide keynote speeches, trans inclusion workshops and training sessions to a wide range of individuals and businesses. Throughout his career he has provided keynotes for prestigious organisations such as JP Morgan, Barclays, and BlackRock, establishing him as a credible and experienced speaker. 

With a master’s degree in Critical Methodologies from King’s College London, Owen’s career started as a Senior Researcher for Bentley Lewis. Within this role it was his responsibility to focus on financial services, technology, and healthcare sectors. As he progressed over the years, Owen transitioned to become a consultant for charities and social enterprise practice at Green Park. This organisation has a focus on diversity, environmentally friendly resourcing solutions, customer service, and doing right first time. Having worked in these kinds of environments, Owens credibility as a speaker on these topics is only furthered. 

More recently, Owen joined Alumni as the Head of Research. This role included supporting leading public sector organisations to secure the right executive, board, and academic talent to encourage positive improvements in their overall performance. Owen then progressed to become a Director of Higher Education and Non-Profit Practice at Alumni, where he currently spearheads diversity and inclusion consultancy across the global client base. Aside from his successful career, Owen does a lot of consultancy work where he often speaks on panels and stages. He offers keynotes, workshops, and consultancy services and is renowned for bridging personal experiences with professional expertise.
