Naga Munchetty

Naga Munchetty is a presenter for BBC Breakfast and a Strictly Come Dancing star. Naga Munchetty's first step into journalism was on the City Pages for the London Evening Standard alongside working on the business section of The Observer. After establishing herself in journalism and working in it for some time, Naga then began her television career for Reuters Financial Television as a reporter. Shortly after this, she got a job for CNBC Europe as senior producer, admittedly a big step up from her previous job. From there, Naga then went onto be a business producer for Channel 4 News and a presenter.

With a clear passion for television and media, Naga joined Working Lunch after the show was re-vamped in October of 2008 and stayed with the programme until it was cancelled in July of 2010. Munchetty has hosted Radio 4's Money Box and also reports from the City for BBC News, gauging the reaction to breaking financial stories such as the Budget, and the Pre-Budget report. Since August of 2010, Munchetty has presented early morning bulletins on the BBC News Channel as well as BBC World News. She is a regular presenter on BBC's Breakfast, broadcast every morning.

Additionally to this, Munchetty co-hosted The Spending Review – The South Today Debate on BBC One with Sally Taylor in September 2010. Also hosting Paranormal Investigation, Newsnight and Sunday Morning Live and narrating Faith In Paris, Munchetty is without a doubt one of the most well known presenter for the BBC. She was also a contestant on the fourteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, having been paired with Pasha Kovalev and being unfortunately voted out in week four.
