Moona Ederveen-Schneider is a globally recognised cybersecurity strategist, executive speaker and founder, known for securing communities through cross-sector resilience, post-quantum preparedness and inclusive leadership. As Founder of Resilia Connect and author of the ‘Practical Post-Quantum Transition Framework’, Moona combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight. Moona’s path into cybersecurity began at sixteen, attending international security conferences and developing an early passion for protecting digital systems. After relocating to Amsterdam at nineteen, Moona built hands-on experience in a start-up, working across programming, hardware and technical documentation. She graduated BA cum laude from the University of Amsterdam, where her award-winning thesis was published by Wolters Kluwer, demonstrating her ability to make technical complexity accessible. This foundation shaped Moona’s distinctive speaking style, grounded in clarity, storytelling and practical application.

Across more than twenty years, Moona has held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan Chase, UBS, Nomura and ABN Amro, leading high-impact cybersecurity and risk programmes across EMEA. She later became Executive Director EMEA at FS-ISAC, acting as a key ambassador to central banks, governments and law enforcement across 75 countries, building intelligence-sharing networks protecting over $100 trillion in assets. Moona also founded the Quantum Security Connection, uniting cross-sector leaders to address quantum readiness, and serves as Faculty and Curriculum Reviewer at Cambridge PACE alongside advisory roles with Cyber London and the London Cyber Resilience Centre.
