Max Rushden is an English radio and television presenter, with a palpable passion for sports and journalism. Rushden’s first taste of sports journalism came from editing his student sports magazine, whilst working at Radio Cambridge. Max has presented a number of BBC shows, including BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC London News and Inside Out. After completing his Post-Graduate Degree in Journalism, Rushden’s breakthrough opportunity was with BBC London 94.9‘s breakfast show from December 2006 – March 2008. From there, he presented the Saturday morning Sky Sports show, Soccer AM, alongside Helen Chamberlain from August 2008 until 2015. Max currently has a weekly Sunday spot on Talksport hosting his own sports orientated show, showcasing his talent and knowledge for sports through his personable presenting style. Max hosts a hugely successful football podcast, The Guardian Football Weekly, which boasts an impressive audience of loyal sports fans; whilst on the road, the show sells out across the country. Prior to Max, the podcast was hosted by James Richardson, before being taken over in 2017.
