Matthew has authored the books New British Fascism: Rise of the British National Party and co-authored National Populism: The Revolt Against Liberal Democracy and Revolt on the Right: Explaining Support for the Radical Right in Britain. His books have earned him several awards, such as being named on The Sunday Times Bestseller list and claiming the 2015 Political Book of the Year and recognition in the 2018 Politics Books of the Year list.
