Matthew Goodwin

Matthew Goodwin is a leading and professional academic, who has enjoyed a successful career as a professor and lecturer at some of the country’s top universities. Since 2010, Matthew has also acted as an Associate Fellow at Chatham House and since 2015 has been a Professor of Politics at the University of Kent. Matthew has authored the books New British Fascism: Rise of the British National Party and co-authored National Populism: The Revolt Against Liberal Democracy and Revolt on the Right: Explaining Support for the Radical Right in Britain. His books have earned him several awards, such as being named on The Sunday Times Bestseller list and claiming the 2015 Political Book of the Year and recognition in the 2018 Politics Books of the Year list.
