Matt Jarvis

Matt Jarvis is a former professional footballer who had a long and distinguished career as a winger. With thirty-eight goals over the course of his career, Matt has played for Premier League and Championship teams. Now a sports consultant and frequent media contributor, Matt is a highly sought-after speaker hired to motivate and inspire. 

Matt began his football career at Millwall before signing with Gillingham where he was named the teams Young Player of the Season. In 2007 he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers where his skill was recognised with the Supporters’ Player of the Year award and the Player’s Player of the Year award. After leaving the Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2012, Matt went on to sign a five year contract with West Ham United, before playing for both Norwich City and Woking.  

In 2021, after a prestigious nineteen year career, Matt retired from professional football, however he remains very active in football. A experienced sports consultant, Matt collaborates with sports organisations to provide insights into player development and performance optimisation. He has also stepped into the corporate world and is Director of APX, a sports and entertainment business. An Advisor at ebb, where he helps athletes and performers achieve peak performance, Matt is also an Ambassador for West Ham United FC and a Player Mentor at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
