Layton Williams

Layton Williams is a beloved English actor, singer, and dancer, best known for appearing as Stephan Carmichael in the popular television series Bad Education. A born performer, he has gained many remarkable opportunities throughout his career and has most recently played the lead role in Everyone’s Talking About Jamie on the West End. Keen to enter the entertainment industry from a young age, Layton spent several months training at the Billy Elliot Academy and made his acting debut in Billy Elliot the Musical in 2007 in London’s West End. Entering the public eye during his training for the musical, Layton took part in numerous TV shows, interviews, and short video clips related to the musical. Two months after his final performance in 2008, Layton gained the opportunity to make his debut television appearance on FeelGood Factor on ITV alongside Tanner Pflueger and Tom Holland. From 2012 to 2014, he entered our television screens as Stephan Carmichael in Bad Education and developed a respected reputation for his professionalism in the role. Having focused his recent career performing live on stage, Layton has performed in Hairspray the Musical in 2015-16, and then most notably as Jamie in Everyone’s Talking About Jamie at the Apollo Theatre.
