Laura London has exceptional card skills and is recognised as one of the world's few female sleights of hand artist. She wrote and devised her own show, Laura London: Cheat, which was highly regarded by the Edinburgh Fringe. The story was set in the 1920s and based on a female cardsharp who made her living cheating at poker. Laura's one of a kind skills and stage presence brought the show to life.
Laura's passion for magic spiralled from the age of ten when she was given her first magic trick from a family friend and by the age of eighteen Laura became the youngest ever female member of The Magic Circle. Laura's magic started with just close-up magic while she continued experimenting with mind reading and illusions. Only six months into being a professional magician Laura had already appeared in a ten-part street magic series called Playing Tricks. Laura continued to appear on television shows from Children In Need, The Magic Party for BBC NI, Penn and Teller's 'Fool Us' and ITV1's The Next Great Magician.
Laura is a magician in high demand currently holding residencies at the Hippodrome, Café de Paris, Scarfes Bar at The Rosewood Hotel and the Black Cat at the Café Royal. The magician of choice for fashionable London venues, Laura has also had the honour to perform for the Prince of Wales and Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Laura has travelled the world to showcase her talent from Miami, LA, New York, Dubai, Tokyo, Sydney, Beijing, Hong Kong, Mumbai and Johannesburg. Performing for big name clients such as Formula 1, DKNY, Porsche, Universal Records, Kempinski Hotels, Soho House, Champneys, Bucks Club and Cass Business School. Laura frequently performs alongside Dynamo as part of a team of magicians, this has taken her to many prestigious events.
Not only does Laura invent tricks and design special playing cards to sell to the magic community worldwide but she also hosts specialist sell-out workshops for professional magicians which is called London Presents.
