Growing up, Lamb had not considered professional acting, until he found himself in Canada with his work in the oil industry, and pursuing amateur acting whilst studying at the St. Francis Xavier University. Making his debut performance in 1975, Lamb showcased his abilities at Canada’s Stratford Festival and confirmed his future was in show business. A natural on stage and screen, Lamb’s early work includes BBC soap; Triangle, a small role in Superman and the Broadway production of ‘Comedians’, exemplifying his abilities when it came to roles from the outset of his career.
