Graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Philosophy with History of Art, Kirsty began her decorated career working as Editor of WhatsOnStage.com. She worked in SEO as a Consultant & Content Manager at Blueclaw Media Ltd and a Search Strategist for DigitasLBi. Proving a strong proficiency in SEO, Kirsty became Head of SEO for Found and Linkdex. In 2016, Kirsty founded her own marketing agency, Manyminds, which turned over nearly £1 million in its first year. Kirsty also did stand-up comedy for years, with a sold-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.
Kirsty authored her first book, The Future is Freelance, in 2017 on flexible working. The book was a finalist in the Startup Inspiration category of the Business Book Awards. Building her portfolio, Kirsty founded Roar Training in 2019, working with businesses to provide professional training and coaching for the workplace. Kirsty founded Confidence Live! in 2022, a conference celebrating self-improvement, confidence and motivation. The first conference was held in 2023 and has since been attended by hundreds of guests and celebrities, including Katherine Ryan, Caitlin Moran and Sue Perkins. Kirsty has also been an advisor for Neuroworx since 2024, improving recruitment for businesses. Kirsty’s second book, Don’t Swear at Work, a Guide to the Modern Workplace, was published in 2025. The book was included in Hello’s list of the best motivational self-help books to help you make a positive change in 2025.
