John Stix

John is the co-founder of Fibernetics, one of the largest Canadian telecom companies, with points of presence coast-to-coast, supporting hundreds of thousands with their telecommunications needs. He oversees an international team of telecom professionals principally through our residential brand, Worldline and our business services division, NEWT including a branch in the Dominican Republic. He also mentors Fibernetics Ventures Inc. and its associated companies: Fongo, Cloud at Cost, Rack & Data and Plasticity.

John Stix encourages and dares everyone he encounters to be authentic. He is passionate about people being real, whatever role they play in life. He’s experienced first-hand, the powerful impact a being real has on employees, colleagues, friends and family.

John knows from personal experience that people who are fully aligned with themselves and their mission have an enormously positive effect on everyone they come in contact with, even though they don’t pretend to be perfect!

John created and introduced the 'I’m In' mantra into Fibernetics. In one short year, this mantra and set of values that has been engrained into the business, has also been recognised outside of the organisation. John and his team were honoured to receive the Best Employer Branding Award at this years’ Canadian HR Awards.
