Innovative entrepreneur and television vet, Joe Inglis has pioneered the luxury dog food industry and gained a reputation as a trusted resident veterinarian in the mainstream media. At events, Joe brings the expertise, approachable manner and upbeat personality as seen in his television appearances, to the stage as a keynote speaker. An unrivalled leader in his field, Joe combines humorous tales from the vet practice with practical business advice and shares with audiences how he turned passion into profit.
Best known for his television appearances, Joe was the resident vet on ‘Blue Peter’ for four years, where he educated kids on caring for their pets. Off the back of the success of Blue Peter, Joe found himself highly in demand as an onscreen vet for a wealth of programmes. From ‘The Wright Stuff’ to ‘The One Show’ Joe’s expertise could be heard across the nation. In 2008 Joe became the resident vet for the BBC Breakfast, and is currently the in-house expert at ITV’s This Morning, often seen answering viewers' weird and wonderful animal queries.
Studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bristol, Joe knew he wanted to dedicate his career to helping care for all creatures, and studied for five years for his qualifications. Whilst at university, Joe was selected for a reality series ‘Vet School’ which followed young vets training at the beginning of their careers. Evident in his appearance was Joe’s confidence, capability and care when it came to hands on practice, and he was soon requested for the spin off show ‘Vets in Practice’ in which he starred for a further seven years.
A natural born entrepreneur, Joe founded Pets’ Kitchen in 2009, a service that offered veterinarian certified diets for pets, and is now available to purchase in every major supermarket chain across the country. With a brimming business portfolio, Joe has continually strived to fill gaps in the market and seek opportunities. Most recently, Joe has been acting as the Founder of Tails.com, a website that designs personalised diets for dogs, and as the co-founder of VetChef, home cooked meals for pets. Joe Inglis is not only an experienced professional vet, but a dedicated television expert and entrepreneur, that offers value to a range of clients as a keynote speaker.

"Joe came to open our new veterinary surgeries and was very professional. He knew exactly what to do; he got eye contact with the clients as they walked though the door and spent time chatting with them, asking if they wanted their animal weighed or if they were flea/wormed, it was almost as though he worked for us all the time. We didn’t have to ask him to do anything, he just did it! Thanks Joe." - Park Veterinary Group
