Jo Enright is a leading comedienne, actress, voiceover artist and comedy writer. In 1995, she appeared at the Edinburgh Festival in her debut act and has enjoyed a fruitful career in comedy since. With over ten years in the industry, she is well known throughout the country.
As an actress, Jo has made appearances in The Job Lot, Trollied, I’m Alan Partridge and Phoenix Nights. She has also branched out into writing and recently completed the writing of a commissioned script for Channel 4 and Babycow Productions.
Jo was named ‘Comedian of the Year’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 1996 and was awarded ‘Best Female on the Jongleurs Comedy Circuit’ in 2001. In 2002, she received a Chortle Award for ‘Best Female Circuit Comic’.
Extremely talented, she has worked alongside the likes of Peter Kay, Ricky Gervais and Warwick Davies during her career.
