James Vince

The current captain of Hampshire County Cricket Club, James Vince is a dynamic and effective sports speaker who can entertain and motivate audiences of all varieties. As a member of the England squad that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup, James is no stranger to teamwork and has an abundance of inspiring stories to tell as the after dinner speaker at your next corporate event, function or conference.

After attending Hampshire Cricket Academy, James Vince joined the club in 2009 alongside fellow graduates Benny Howell, Chris Morgan, Tom Parsons, and Hamza Riazuddin. Vince quickly proved his abilities and after the retirement of former batsman, John Crawley he was made a regular member of the squad.

Following on from his ODI and T20 debut in 2015, James has made 13 appearances in both formats of the game as well as 162 appearances in First-Class cricket and 136 in List A Cricket. He won his first Test cap in 2016 when he was named in the squad that played Sri Lanka during their tour to England before scoring his highest score of 32 in a match against Bangladesh in an ODI match.

Most recently, Vince has continued to display his immense abilities as a cricketer. As a member of the final fifteen-man team that was victorious at the 2019 Cricket World Cup, he contributed to a performance that made English history before being selected a part of the Paarl Rocks team for the 2019 Mzansi Super League tournament.
