As ¼ of the most successful British girl band in the 21st century, Jade Thirlwall is an entertainer above the rest. Her comprehensive understanding of the music industry, support for the LGBT+ community and natural singing talent makes her an all-round special guest at events, while Jade’s popularity instantly resonates with audiences. As a performer, few can rival Jade’s vocal prestige, ensuring that the dance floor is filled all event long. First auditioning for The X Factor in 2008, it was Jade’s second audition in 2011 that gave Jade the opportunity she needed to kickstart her career.
With four beaming “yesses”, she soared through to Bootcamp, where she was paired with Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson. The girl group, originally titled Rhythmix but later changed to Little Mix, quickly became fan favourites of the show, resulting in a first-place finish following the live finals. As the first group to win The X Factor, viewers waited eagerly for Little Mix to release their post-X Factor music – and they were certainly not disappointed! From DNA to Salute and LM5 in 2018, the band have released several chart-topping albums and embarked on countless international tours, including The Confetti Tour in 2021.
With Jade’s likeable personality, the group also hosted their web show, Served!, in 2020. Aside from her music career, Jade is a vocal supporter of the LGBT+ community. She spoke at the Stonewall Youth Awards, attended Manchester Pride, and appeared as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, a celebration of drag culture. In 2019, Jade helped to raise £10,000 for transgender charity, Mermaid’s UK, and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. In recognition of her influence, she was nominated for the 2020 LGBTQ Influencer of the Year, after also being nominated for Most Entertaining Celebrity in 2017.
A truly show-stopping performer, Jade’s impact on Little Mix’s success is reflected through their countless awards, including two Brit Awards, four MTV Europe Music Awards and five Global Music Awards. The group were awarded two Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards, and are recognised as the first girl group since The Pussycat Dolls to break the US market. Rivalling the prestigious Spice Girls, Little Mix have received multiple certifications, including Platinum and Gold. With her monumental success, Jade is the perfect celebrity to feature at your event or brand campaign.
