Isaac Kenyon is a world-record-breaking eco-adventurer, expedition leader and motivational speaker. Seeking to make positive environmental changes, he uses his understanding of energy transition to develop innovative climate solutions. He is also the Founder of Climate Explores and likes to help people improve their mental health with exposure to nature and exercise. An avid explorer and adventurer who wants to achieve the extraordinary, Isaac is also one of the youngest keynote speakers in the world and eloquently speaks on several topics, including teamwork, building high-performance teams, peak performance, mental health and adventure and exploration. He has spoken for several prestigious organisations, such as Mars, Channel 4, United Nations and TEDx Chelmsford.
Coming from humble origins, Isaac grew up in the impoverished town of Luton, where he spent his childhood following a rigid routine as his parents sought to protect him from the dangers lurking in the city. This fostered a desire in him to seek adventure and exploration, and the opportunity came when he moved to London, to study at Royal Holloway University. Over the next few years, he would lead several difficult expeditions, including a relay swim across the English Channel without a wets suit, a summit of Mount Kilimanjaro within four days whilst battling altitude sickness and breaking both the World and British records for the lightweight longest solo continual ergometer, where he would row for 83 hours with no sleep!
Moreover, in a feat of great endurance and teamwork, he rowed across the Atlantic Ocean in 40 days through terrifying stormy sea conditions. More recently, Isaac achieved a world-first cycle from Orkney to the Scilly Isles on both sea and land, over 14 days. Isaac embodies his motto of living an extraordinary life and actively pursues difficult challenges to constantly push himself to grow through seeking discomfort. Furthermore, having experienced severe anxiety and panic attacks, Isaac is a mental health advocate who uses nature and exercise as a healing solution. His close affinity to the natural world has also made him a passionate climate activist, constantly searching for innovative solutions to restore the ecosystem through a combination of behavioural change, public awareness, and funding of programmes.
An inspirational millennial seeking to make a difference, Isaac leads from the front, actively seeking discomfort to push himself to perform at his peak. His multifaceted experiences have equipped him with several techniques, which he now shares in his speaking engagements to motivate people, build high-performance teams and help people improve their mental health. Furthermore, he shares anecdotes about his tremendous endurance feats to inspire his audience to become extraordinary individuals.
