Contracting eye cancer whilst still an infant Ian Rose grew up with limited vision and notable physical scarring following a number of operations and procedures which, included removing his left eye entirely. As a judo competitor and champion for over two decades, Ian has a collection of prestigious trophies. Some of his most impressive achievements include being the four-times European Champion, competing in five Paralympic Games, gaining a bronze medal in 1996 and a silver medal in 2004. In addition, Ian won two bronze awards in the Judo World Championships, proving his dominance in the sport.
