Hannah Stitfall is a talented wildlife presenter and filmmaker, playing a crucial role in the production of programmes such as BBC Earth and BBC Springwatch. Making waves documenting the natural world around her, Hannah is an active campaigner for Helping the Rhinos, The UK Wild Otter Trust and The Wildlife Trust to name but a few. Now booked to appear at a range of corporate and public events, Hannah shares her passions for the environment, by increasing awareness of illegal wildlife trade and other pressing environmental issues.
After studies in Wildlife Education & Media, Applied Zoology and Wildlife Filmmaking, Hannah began her media career as the Head of Marketing for Blue Reef Aquarium for National Science Week. She later went on to be a Filmmaker at The Cornwall College Group and a Presenter for Newquay Zoo. Building her expertise on wildlife, Hannah later became a Presenter for Wildscreen and a Camera Operator for The Wildlife Trust. Other filming roles included being a camera operator for the 2017 Slapstick Comedy Festival and the Royal Television Society Bristol.
Hannah also aided in the filming of Hunting Finland and as the Lead Production Researcher for the Blue Marine Foundation, before joining the BBC in 2018. At the BBC, she began working as the Social Media Coordinator for BBC Springwatch, and has since worked as a Digital Assistant for BBC Autumnwatch and Winterwatch. Currently, Hannah is sharing her talents as a Presenter and Producer of BBC Earth and as a Digital Assistant for BBC Springwatch. When she is not dedicating her time to producing some of the BBC’s best-loved nature programmes, Hannah uses her avid social media following of over 50k followers to spread awareness of the illegal wildlife trade and shots from her travels across the country filming the beautiful country wildlife.
